  I later found out they do not sell any equivalent regulators, had he simply listened to me, this could have been solved in a matter of minutes, instead he kept interrupting me and not listening. This kind of service is fine at a mechanics or a mcdonalds, but when searching for sensitive and specific electrical parts, there needs to be effective communication.

  I buy a breadboard that does not quite work. It's nearly impossible to slide components into some of the sockets without destroying the leads. Eventually I give up and take it back, but have lost the receipt. The middle age bloke who serves me says, just put the leads in on an angle and is not at all interested in exchanging it for one that works.

  Was just on the phone with this store looking for a replacement Voltage Regulator for my TV. I needed a part that could replace a BM1117 and as I explained this to the gentleman at the store, rather than helping me at all, he said I'd have to find the part myself on their catalogue. The issue here being that their catalogue comes up with >700 results for the part and none of them are equivalent.
